Tens of Thousands of men across North America - and around the world, are seeking medical assistance regarding their restoration efforts. It is an unfortunate fact that most medical professionals either refer restoring men to psychiatrists or dismiss the efforts of these circumcised men and subject matter out of hand - including urologists. A medical professional in Australia, for example, told a patient that foreskin restoration is "utter rubbish". This is sadly indicative of the mentality among most professional health care professionals. This is a travesty of the highest level.
At FRC, you will find medical abstracts on skin expansion techniques and principles, links directly to medical research and urology resources on non-surgical foreskin restoring methods (knowledge of which I regret most doctors including urology specialists - are woefully un/under educated), be able to interact, read, post, and ask questions in our 24/7 restoration chat room, and foreskin restoration Forums (the largest on the net) from lay - but experienced men (and some supportive medical doctors)currently undergoing, or completing their restoration process and you will be able to view - first hand - photos and medical clips for viewing of foreskin restoration progress of 'various restorers' You will also find an extensive collection of carefully reviewed and ranked web-sites dealing with non-surgical foreskin restoration in our Links Directory.
We urge you to remain open minded when circumcised men come to you with foreskin restoration related issues. Please be sensitive and also understand that the patient may have more lay information on this subject than you, but may require assurances that no harm is being done to the penis, and may ask some personally vital medical questions about their procedure.
Assistance in helping a restoring man understand medical skin-expansion and the time required to undertake a restoration regimen, will go a long way in helping restoring men through this long endured emotional and physical process - a process that causes sometimes shocking changes to the restorer's penis (ie. dekeritinization, inner foreskin changes, changes in the color of the glans penis, scrotal skin migration, etc.) We would appreciate you getting involved with the restoration community.
If you would like to offer support online on a casual basis, please click here and email Steve with your credentials. You may contribute in any number of ways: spending time once in a while on the chat-room to chat about restoration (might include questions regarding vitamins, or minor knicks and cuts on the penis, or questions or a more deeply urological nature ie. circumcision methods used to perform RICs, questions regarding the frenelum, frenar band, Meisner corpuscles, the frenar delta, etc.), contribute posts to the FRC Forums area (please be sure to either create a profile, or be sure to put your credentials under your name on the posting).
Any doctor willing to offer to answer a few questions every few weeks, submitted by restorers, for an 'ask the doctor' column, please let me know! In any case, please educate yourselves in skin expansion as it relates to circumcised men restoring their foreskin non-surgically. The chances are good that you'll come across at least one restorer looking for help soon! A restorer would love to hear a doctor say "I'm all read up on non-surgical restoration, what method are you using?" Will that be you, doctors?
