I was cut within the first few days of my life before leaving the hospital. The year was 1956. The place, Ontario, Canada. I do not know even to this day why I was cut except that I know my father was also cut.

I grew up believing and assuming that how my penis looked was normal because all of the males I saw nude, were cut. There were no foreskins in sight.

I don't remember even knowing about circumcision as a child. I guess that I just assumed that I had been born this way.

I learned about circumcision in school, probably in grade 7 or 8, during sex ed. class. I was about 12 or 13 at the time. I distinctly remember the first time I saw an intact penis. It was in the washroom at high school. There was a large immigrant Italian population in the area I grew up in. Although these children attended separate elementary schools they all came to the public high school. The Italian born males were all intact. I was immediately attracted to what I saw and wished that I had one of my own.

I soon learned about some of the functioning of the foreskin because of exposure to a number of guys in the showers after football games and phys ed. classes. It was not uncommon to see guys peeling back their skin to wash, nor was it uncommon to see erect penises, cut and intact, around the locker room and showers.
A couple of circle jerks in the showers also provided me with some understanding of how the foreskin worked during sex. I never even suspected that foreskin restoration was possible.

I had been so tightly cut that I had painful erections beginning with the onset of puberty and the growth of my penis. When I was very erect it felt and looked like I was about to burst my skin. It was so tight and looked like it was thinned out, like a balloon that has been blown up too far and was about to pop. Of course at that age one does not say anything to anyone and just assumes that this is normal.

I did not know about non-surgical foreskin restoration until I was 43 years old. I was just playing around on the internet, typed in "foreskin" , and there they were; sites about foreskin restoration.

I had done a lot of reading. I went and searched and finally found a copy of the "Joy of Uncircumsizing" read it in one evening, cried for a couple of days about what I had been missing and then told my partner that I was going to restore.

I had no loose skin when I began. When I was erect the skin on my shaft would not move at all.

I started with cross taping and popped the tapes every night for awhile with nightly erections. After a couple of weeks I managed to get through nights with the tape in place and knew that something had changed.

I then downloaded and printed one of the T tape picture books, bought 2"micropore, and some elastic and clips to make straps. I quickly put together the parafinaelllia (sp?) and worked to make a proper t tape. It took of bit of trial and error but it happened. I was so excited that an erection for taping was not a problem.

I don't remember how long I t taped before I tried some other methods. But I did try a film tube and didn't like it becuse of the urine which stayed inside after peeing. I made a couple of phimo cones and didn't like them either. This was all in the first year of restoring. I started in Nov 1999 and by the summer of 2000 I discovered that I wasn't going to be able to keep the tape on because I sweat so much in hot weather.

So I ordered and recieved a Tug Ahoy.

I wore the T.A. for about 6 months; someitmes day and night. I had been tugging with t tape day and night so why not the TA?. I had trouble keeping the TA on and also had problems with pinching. After about 6 months the outer covering of the TA cones started to delaminate so I gave up on that and went back to T Taping. I continue to t tape and am completing my fifth year of restoring on Nov 11, 2004 (Remembrance Day in Canada). I am not using micropore tape. I found that Rejuveness was softer and more pliable and had better stick. I can wear it in the summer.

I usually keep a tape on for 2-3 days, depending upon how much tension I am wearing and if I want to have sex.

Since I am also a nudist my taping schedule gets interupted if I am going to a nudist resort or beach and do not want to have tape on. I do sometimes however purposely wear an o ring to the nudist resorts. This ensures that my glans do not see the sun. Sun burn or even a tan is not desirable on ones glans. I have had to explain my ring on a number of occaisions at the nude beach or resorts and do so without apology and have never been treated badly because of it.

One side effect of restoring has been an increase in penis length. I was not prepared for this but am not disappointed by it. I gained over 1" (2.5 cm) in length and about half that in girth. I believe that had I not been cut in the first place that my penis would have naturally grown to this length during puberty. This increase took place during the first two years of restoration and has ceased.

I am, at this point in my journey, reliably and totally covered when flaccid and I can pull my foreskin over my glans even when fully erect for total coverage, but as yet it will not stay in place during erection.

Prior to restoring, I know now that, I had never had an orgasm. I could ejaculate but that was all. I now experience wonderful orgasms which involve my entire body and I also experience the gliding action of the foreskin during sex. My glans have dekaratinized and have changed colour and I now produce smegma if I remain covered and unwashed for more than 24 hours.

My intention is to continue to restore until I can have skin remain on my glans even when erect. I can keep an o ring on now even when erect but I don't want to keep wearing an o ring in order to stay covered when erect. I am hoping that I can reach my goal by this time next year (so, by around November, 2005!)
